UrbanPay was born from the joint venture between elsa.care and UrbanPath Group, two companies that lived the payment problems of the real estate industry firsthand and decided to solve them.
Our story
We were born inside a club-deal platform
In 2025, Urbanflip, the real estate investment platform of UrbanPath Group, had a problem any operator in the sector will recognize: raising capital from dozens of investors, segregating it per project, and distributing returns with manual transfers, spreadsheets, and reconciliation by hand.
elsa.care, a payments technology company that processes millions in cross-border transactions, joined UrbanPath to build the solution from the inside. UrbanPay's first client was ourselves.
Everything you see in this product exists because we needed it first. Today, UrbanPay offers that same infrastructure to property managers, developers, and investment platforms across Europe: collections, verification, signing, and distribution in a single platform.

The first A2A payment product is launched, tailored to Urbanflip's specific needs for investor collection and profitability distribution.

Nobody holds your money. Every payment goes straight from the payer's bank to your account, initiated by an entity authorized by the FCA (UK) and BaFin (Germany) and passported across the EEA. Our partners are certified to the highest market standards.
Who holds your money? Nobody.
EU RegulationIn account-to-account payments the money never sits on a UrbanPay balance. It travels directly from the payer's bank to your account, with no intermediate balance to hold and no counterparty risk. If UrbanPay disappeared tomorrow, your money would be where it always was: in your bank. Payment initiation is provided by an entity authorized by the FCA and BaFin, passported across the EEA, and our infrastructure is ready for the transition to PSD3 when it comes into force.
