Implementation & Payment Operations Manager — Living

We are looking for an operationally minded person who can translate the complexity of a Living portfolio into simple, scalable payment workflows. You will help implement UrbanPay for clients that manage large portfolios and collectively generate more than €100 million in monthly transaction volume, so the workflows you design must work across multiple assets, teams, systems and European markets. This role is particularly suited to someone from property operations, finance operations, revenue management, systems implementation or central support within a flex-living, co-living, PBSA, BTR or hospitality operator. You do not need to be a developer. You do need to enjoy understanding how processes, systems and teams fit together.

What you will do

  • Map each client's resident journey, from verification and contract signature through initial payment, recurring monthly rent collection and move-out.
  • Configure UrbanPay workflows around different assets, contract start dates, monthly collection schedules and approval requirements.
  • Manage implementations from initial discovery through pilot, training and portfolio rollout.
  • Coordinate data requirements between UrbanPay and clients' PMS, ERP, accounting and reporting environments.
  • Work with systems such as Yardi, Mews, StarRez, RMS or similar platforms used by Living and hospitality operators.
  • Design solutions for operational exceptions: third-party payers, changes to payment schedules, missed or late payments, room transfers, early departures and reconciliation exceptions.
  • Train property, finance and central operations teams so UrbanPay becomes part of their normal workflow.
  • Monitor adoption, payment completion, settlement times, unreconciled transactions and support requirements.
  • Translate client feedback into clear priorities for UrbanPay's product and engineering teams.
  • Create implementation playbooks that can be repeated across assets, portfolios and European markets.

What you bring

  • At least three years of experience in operations, finance, systems or implementation within flex living, co-living, PBSA, BTR, residential management or hospitality.
  • Firsthand experience with high-volume resident payments, monthly rent collection, reconciliation or property-management processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with operational and financial data.
  • The ability to manage several stakeholders and move a project from discussion to live operation.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards and business systems.
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with payments or software implementation is helpful but not essential.
  • Hands-on experience with PMS platforms such as Yardi, Mews, StarRez or RMS.
